Cycling and Kayaking - Itinerary
Day – 1 Arrival
Arrive at Cochin International Airport and tour executive will meet and greet you there after transfer to backwater resort in Cochin. Check in to Lake symphony and over night stay in the resort.
About the program:
We welcome you to enjoy the flavors of rural Kerala with, the specialty of the package are the cycling that goes through the back road, Kayaking in the backwaters and the stay in the lively farm in a village.
Day - 2 Thattekad
Your cycling starts from the metro city - Kochi to the bio diversified land forest at Thattekad. You will cycle through the country sid of Kerala with the pleasing view of rice fields, spice plantations and small water bodies of Periyar lake. The Hornbill camp in the banks of the periyar river awaits your arrival. you can have a free day in the camp or you can still continue your activities in the resorts such as Nature walk and Kayaking with your guide.
Day - 3 Thodupuzha
A day to discover the rural life of Kerala, the ride through the rubber plantation and spice growing villages will tell you that this is the place where the major part spice trading happens in Kerala. The ride will end at the farm Villa which filled with spices and Ayurveda plants. Enjoy the farm stay or you can also have short Ayurveda massage.
Day - 4 Alleppey
Transfer to Alleppey the venice of the east, the actual place to enjoy the real Kayaking. This journey or activity will tell you the life style of the common people lives beside the Alleppey backwater. The main specialty is the traditional Kerala style sea food, this will make your day.
Day - 5 Pulinkunnu
A great day to enjoy the other side of backwater, this will tell you the agricultural tradition of people lives here. Evening we will proceed to the most romantic and beautiful beach in Kerala. Check in to Beach Symphony and over night stay in the resort.
Day - 6 Departure
After breakfast you can proceed for your onward travel plan. We will take you the Cochin International Airport.
