Periyar Wild Life - Itinerary
Day – 1 Arrival
Arrive at Cochin International Airport and tour executive will meet and greet you there after transfer to Thekkad, Check in to Carmelia Haven, the most beautiful resort in Thekkady with a Tree House. A short jeep drive will end up at tree house and enjoy the day in the tree house. Overnight stay in the tree house.


Day -2 Periyar Tiger Trail - 2 Nights
The trail starts at 8.45 am and make sure that you got ready by 7.30 am, and transfer to Periyar tiger trail.
The program is conducted by local community members and this makes the difference that you will get the real feel of natural wild life program.
The team who is conducting the program has the good knowledge of  Periyar wild life as they live here and this will help you to know the real fact  and habitat about the Periyar. The trek starts by 9 am on the arrival day and ends by noon on the third day. You will be trekking for about 25 to 30 km's distance as per the route chosen.

You could spot a good variety of animals in Periyar such as - Elephant, Bison, Gaur, Sambar deer, Barking deer, Mouse deer, Nilgiri langur, Bonnet macaque, Lion-tailed macaque, Leopards, Jungle cats, Wild dogs and most importantly the Tiger. Other important animals are sloth bear, porcupine, Indian Giant Squirrel, Malabar flying squirrel, Wild boar, small Indian Civet, and Pangolins. The tiger is the main predator in the Periyar Tiger Reserve.


Over night stay in tents.

Day - 4 Departure
After breakfast you can proceed for your onward travel plan. We will take you the  Cochin or Trivandrum Airport.



Cost Includes: 

  • Accommodation on double sharing on Base Category Rooms unless mentioned itinerary.

  • Rly. Station/Airport-Hotel transfer by chauffeur.

  • City to city transfer and sightseeing as per the itinerary in  AC Car 

  • Tolls, Parking Charges ,Permit Charges  and Driver Bata

  •  All hotel taxes.

Cost Excludes:

  • Meals that are not mentioned in the itinerary, Early Check In /Late Check out Charges. 

  • Master /Visa Credit card Payment Bank Charges of 02% 

  • Package does not include entry fees to any monuments and places

  • Porterage at hotels and airports, tips, insurance, laundry, liquors, wine, mineral water, telephone charges

  • Expenses of personal nature

  • Any cost arising due to natural calamities like landslides, roadblocks, strikes etc.

  • Any increase in taxes or fuel leading to an increase in surface transportation & land arrangements, which may come into effect prior to departure.
