Kerala Adventure Trip
Day 1: pick from Cochin Airport /railway station to Thattekkad & Check into the camp. Camp located, to perfectly blend into the forest, so you can enjoy your own private jungle and the spectacular view of the river Periyar. Along its banks, birds flock in their thousands and the cool ambience is the ultimate prize for the birder. Known as the Birder's Paradise, the camp and the adjoining Dr Salim Ali Bird Sanctuary, is home to over 270 species of birds, including all the endemics. Over night stay at camp.
Day 2: After breakfast drive to munnar checkin to the camp. Camp is located on a mountain side overlooking the famed Anaerangal Lake and in close proximity to the Papathy shola (‘The Butterfly Forest’) You have range of activities which include treks, plantation walks into the nearby cardamom estate or walk through the vast tea gardens. The high point will always be the sunset trek to ‘Phantom’s Head’ peak to see the spectacular sunsets over the Sahyadri mountains!. Overnight stay in camp
Day 3: after breakfast sightseeing, covering Mattupetty Lake, Eco point, Rajamalai National Park, Attukadu waterfall Tea museum etc. see more activities offered in Munnar Overnight stay at Munnar hotel
Day 4: Morning drive from Munnar to Thekkady & Check in to the forest lodge. Gavi Eco Tourism (The Kerala Forest Development Corporation Ltd) hosts memorable wildlife and Jungle experiences in the most remote and virgin areas decanting the Periyar Tiger Reserve., create Adventure travels that are educational, explorative, fun and insightful. Visit spice market and Periyar Lake. Overnight stay at camp
Day 5: After breakfast drive from Thekkday to Alleppey, check in the houseboat. Over night stay in the houseboat.
Day: 06 after breakfast drive to cochin & sightseeing in Cochin. Visit Dutch Palace, Maraine Drive, Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis church, Chinese fishing nets and Bolgatty palace and transfer back to Cochin Airport/Railway station
